چکیده
A strong statistical method for investigating the correlations between traits, assessing genotypes based on numerous and finding individuals who excel in particular traits is genotype–trait (GT) biplot analysis. The current study was applied to evaluate 11 sweet corn (Zea mays L. saccharata) correlate them analysis two cropping seasons Erzurum, Türkiye using RCBD experimental design with three reputations. results showed that were significantly different majority of examined variables according combined variance findings at 0.01 probability level. An ecological performed varieties environmental conditions interactions (genotype × conditions). Our summation first second main components responsible 73.51% years growth development variance, demonstrating graph’s optimum relative validity, which obtained. In this study, Khan F1 (G6) genotype found be stablest genotype, Kompozit Seker (G7) non-stable moreover year, average mean years. As a conclusion, highest-yielding lowest. Based heat map dendrogram, context differential extent trait association all into clusters indicated. highest genetic distance shown BATEM Tatlı (G3) Febris (G5) genotypes. provide helpful information about environments future breeding programs.

Heterosis and Combining ability Studies for Sugar content in Sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata L.)
The present investigation has been undertaken in sweet corn to carry out the combining ability analysis and to estimate heterosis of yield and yield contributing characters. Eight divergent parents were selected and crossed in diallel fashion excluding reciprocals during kharif, 2010. The resulting 28 crosses along with parents and a standard check Sugar 75 and Madhuri were evaluated in Randomi...

The present study aims to investigate the effects of nitrogen fertilization and municipal waste compost on yield, yield components and some of the grain macronutrients of sweet corn. A field experiment was carried out as a split plot in randomized complete block design with three replications in 2015 at Agriculture and Natural Resources Research Center Zarghan-Fars, Iran. The main plot consiste...
متن کاملGreenhouse Gas Fluxes from Irrigated Sweet Corn (Zea mays L.) and Potato (Solanum tuberosum L.)
Intensive agriculture and increased N-fertilizer use have contributed to elevated emissions of the greenhouse gases, CO2, CH4, and N2O. In this study, the exchange of the greenhouse gases, CO2, N2O, and CH4, between a Quincy fine sand (mixed, mesic Xeric Torripsamments) soil and atmosphere was measured in a sweet corn (Zea mays L.) sweet corn potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) rotation during the 20...
متن کاملGenetic Analysis for Yield Potential and Quality Traits in Maize (Zea mays L.)
Abstract: Grain yield is a complex phenomenon which results from the interaction of various contributing factors highly influenced by environmental variation. Phenotypic selection cannot directly improve the characters in heterozygous crops like maize unless dissected by genetic analysis. Gene action for various quantitative and qualitative traits was explored in a complete set of diallel invol...
متن کاملYield and fruit quality of four sweet corn hybrids (Zea mays) under conventional and integrated fertilization with vermicompost.
BACKGROUND Vermicompost has been proposed as a valuable fertilizer for sustainable agriculture. The effects of vermicompost on yield and quality of sweet corn were evaluated in this study. In two field trials, sweet corn plants were grown under (i) a conventional fertilization regime with inorganic fertilizer, and integrated fertilization regimes in which 75% of the nutrients were supplied by t...
